Wrapper: a minimal theme for use in other applications

Wrapper is a WordPress theme that has been scaled down for use in an HTML iframe or Joomla wrapper. It displays the essential information for viewing blog posts.

Its useful for CMS' like Joomla that integrate WordPress through a wrapper. In these instances, you don't need the header and footer of a typical WordPress theme. The only components that are displayed are the content and sidebar sections.

Post Articles to WordPress with XML-RPC

You don't need to post articles to your blog through the WordPress user interface anymore. WordPressXmlRpc is a PHP library that will allow you to add content to your blog from any PHP application.

One application where this library is being is used is for employee feedback in a company intranet using Joomla. A form is displayed where a question, comment, or criticism is written. Its then submitted to management in addition to posting as a draft message on a blog. IF the the post is approved, then its set to Active by the blog administrator allowing other employees to view and comment on it.

WordPressXmlRpc is easy to install and use. Its also free for use for personal and commercial web sites.

After 10 Years, Guardian Gets Updated

Guardian Software Solutions began 10 years ago in 1998. From the very beginning, we had a web site online. Very little has changed with the site and it only had 2 major designs throughout that time.

At the start of this year, we transferred the web site to the Joomla CMS platform which will make it easier to make updates and maintain the site. Joomla is the most powerful content management system today and is suitable for taking Guardian to a new phase in providing leading edge technologies to our customers.
